The Sony MDR EX 500 has a super clear and balanced sound. The treble and bass are reproduced with a precision like I did not know so far. Even the middle tone range is very well reproduced by the Sony's, which do not get many in-ear headphones so balanced out as the MDR EX 500 from Sony. But where there is light there is in this case a little shade. The headphones produce the wear when you walk or a light breeze blowing noises which are transmitted through the cable. But this will only perceived in quiet passages or the song change (silence). Wearing the headset appears a somewhat incoherent as this vertical will be introduced in the ear at the beginning. However, it does not need any settling, through the different silicone ear cushions sit the handset perfect and disappear two-thirds in the ear. The quality of earphones you already noticed when you hold in your hand. The front is made of brushed aluminum, the rear of high quality plastic, the cable runs behind the head as is the case with most headphones. All in all, the Sony MDR EX 500 a successful product, therefore, there is also full marks from me 5 stars.
