I love this grinder and use it several times a day. Another commenter here Noted thatthere is no commission made for getting the ground coffee out of the machine, but I've remedied did with a brush (the one I got at Karstadt is called a Möbelbrush, as the "espresso" brush what far too small for the job and is made more for the inside of professional-style grinders, so - get a brush with soft bristles at least an inch and a half long The diameter of the bristle area Should be around an inch), a coffee. scoop and a small bowl. After you get in the habit of loading, grinding, and cleaning the machine, nothing will seem easier, or more pleasurable!
So I tried to grind spices in the machine and it worked very well, but I will not do it again, as I did not like how the rice I used to clean it afterward made the plastic on the lid cloudy. An aesthetic difference but all the same I'd prefer it looks pretty. Might buy another one just for spices though.
Absolutely recommend, you will not be disappointed.
