Customer Review

Even with involuntary last album Led Zeppelin showed the world once again that each of their albums sound different.
John Paul Jones' astonishing great influence - according to the booklet, he was involved in six of the seven songs - was found in almost permanent synth carpets with "In Through the Out Door"; Keyboards making the decisions - that would shortly thereafter be a hallmark of the Eighties Pop. So you could say that Led Zeppelin were far ahead of their time again.
That this mixture of pop and heavy guitars is not to everyone's liking, of course, is clear, but I am again of the opinion that one can an aural Again, if you're just a little open to new and different sounds.
In addition, Led Zeppelin proved in times of punk generation, they taunted as "dinosaurs", with the trendy keyboard sounds once again that they were not interested what you thought of them, but they did what they felt like.
And by the way some really good songs are also once again emerged: the energetic "In The Evening", the mainly live lacked good as you can see in the 2003's DVD at the concert in Knebworth; then "Fool In The Rain", which offers partly with proper Samba sounds in the middle and a nice groove; In addition, the epic "Carouselambra", the rocks cool and finally the two ballads "All My Love" (Plants recently deceased son Karac dedicated) and the almost corny, but still simple beautiful "I'm Gonna Crawl", which as a swansong arrogates and it was unfortunately also for the band. Robert Plant brings it again a brilliant, passionate vocal performance and Jimmy Page an excellent guitar solo.
The other two songs, "Southbound Saurez" and "Hot Dog" on the other hand is not necessarily tear off your feet, but you can hear them.
Overall, for me also, "In Through the Out Door", a five-star album.
Well, would not John Bonham died a tragic death, what would have been like? Whether the band would still touring in Rolling Stones style? ...
At least there were plans for a new album, but it should now be nothing again.
RIP, John Henry Bonham.
