This extension to the headphone port of the phone is a useful accessory for the Rain Case 2.0 of Wicked Chili - so the bicycle holder for various mobile phones. The Rain Case has 2 openings: one for the charging cable and one for the headphone cable. The cable described herein can be drawn through the opening for the headphone cable and then close it with the rubber plug on the cable again so that the phone is still protected from the weather. One may wonder, why not pulling their own headphone cord of the phone through the opening. This can be done of course, but the opening is then not closed by the rubber stopper and I think that's also annoying: You have to fumble every time then the cable through the opening. So I just let the audio extension always am Rain Case and then need just when you insert the phone insert the plug into the headphone jack and must perform no more Kabelfummelei before you go! I was allowed to test this cable free with a Rain Case 2.0 for the iPhone 5C - thanks :-)
