I have some time thinking about whether I should at least give 2 stars to the stick. Ultimately, I decided against it, because ultimately it comes but the bottom line to the visual pleasure and which is currently simply not given. I would like to evaluate a preliminary positive, the simple operation and streaming itself. My WLAN connection (50Mbit) was set up in a few seconds and is very stable. Crashes, or even short-term panning on SD quality I could find so far no (filled out at the beginning of the transmission to the buffer). So here I give the stick all in all 5 stars. Now the problem, which can be repeatedly read: The stick can natively represent only 50Hz and 60Hz refresh rates, movies / series recorded with 24P (Hz) refresh rates should automatically be converted or extrapolated. This he does, but so bad that the image, especially when panning camera or motive periodically clear shrugs. A very good example: a look to Part 3 (Season 1) of "Vikings" at about the 5 minutes to. Here the Viking boat pulls along the right side, until it disappears from the screen. In this short scene, which takes about 10 to 15 seconds the image 2 to 3 times twitches very, very much! I wonder only about the many positive reviews which would interfere but anyone who has only reasonably claim to the picture quality !! Unfortunately, most series and movies are now shot in 24P, so that the drive in its current state, unfortunately, is IMHO not really usable. One can not even give Amazon directly to blame here, responsible for the problem is much more Google / Android (based on the software) who refuse to date to recognize this problem, or even to solve! For me, this means that the drive will remain until further notice first are in the closet, in the hope that this issue will be fixed at some point by a software update. I have fortunately a new Panasonic LCD which holds a really good Instant Video app. This is true in terms of operation and speed is not quite at the level of the stick (which also can not be expected), but 24P material runs clean and absolutely smooth!
