Negatives:
1. The electrical connection is troublesome because
- Terminals only allow the connection of a single conductor, making auxiliary terminals require that find little space in normal deep doses.
- The connection of the phase (L) is severely hampered by a required existing jumper that conductors fitted with ferrules, are push in by force. I have an extra bit used to thin ferrules, because it is already very difficult.
2. The astro function, especially the early closing in the winter is so restricted by a steady operation, which I can only interpret as a design flaw that it is useless:
The switch has two different modes: either go the shade on every day at the same time up and down, so also on Saturday and Sunday, or it can be for each weekday program your own time. In the second case can the blind, for example, can be a little later on weekends than during the week rise. Unfortunately, this mode eliminates the astro function.
Specifically, this means: if I want my blind evening then goes down when it gets dark, and if I want, I will not woken up on weekends at half past six by the rising blinds, then I have to buy another product. This has me Vestamatic to ask, and after I had thoroughly annoyed about the bad buy, also expressly confirmed so.
3. Power consumption: Each timer uses about 0.9 watts in idle mode. That does not sound like much, but means that the 8 controllers that I have in my house consume every year electricity worth 20 euros. By comparison, the daily shutdown and startup of the blinds, so the power consumption of the blind motors costs, per year, only about 1 Euro.
