At first I was skeptical as to whether the adapter is sufficiently stable. After all, there are only two bolts that hold everything.
But the adapter makes a very stable impression and the TV can be rotated, tilted and swiveled without problems.
The adapter is, incidentally, completely made of metal and the TV facing side has soft foam to protect against scratches.
Complications
For me there were two more minor problems.
First, I want to point out that one (at my television) should use a VESA mounting with 200 x 100 instead of 200 x 200th
This has the simple reason that the 200 x 200 holder would be seen behind through the high position of the adapter.
At 200 x 100, the holder fits exactly, and do not extend over.
The position of the adapter led to a further, bigger complication. The adapter is as mentioned very high up on the back of the TV.
In my previous TVs, however, the Vesa-screw holes were centered. So my TV now hung lower down, which was visually not acceptable to me.
The only solution was the wall mount neuzuverschrauben a little further up. That has about half an hour took me to drill new holes and fill the old with silicone.
But that was also solved this problem.
I admit deduction by the rather vain resulting overtime a star.
Now everything depended as it should, and it continues to this day very stable.
Conclusion
The only question that remains unclear why Sony has not used the Vesa standard but its own rail moves, although almost exclusively Vesa wall brackets are used. But that should not let stand the adapter bad now that he is ultimately very good.
All in all, met the adapter at the end of the job. From me there is a strong buy recommendation.
