Since Canon S100 builds on the model with the serial number 01x to 29x and it is the perfect, in autumn 2011 the public presented new camera.
The test results are amazing - so all well.
But then Canon is obviously the heart of the production cycle with the idea of saving on this camera from serial number 29x components or to reduce the quality of certain components or changing the production - presumably to save costs.
However, this changed the original Canon high model presented the S100 - has been informed without the customer about it!
Now these "austerity measure" Canon has gone backfired. For now it has become clear through the so-called. "Lens Error" and their admission, the quality changes to the affected series models.
One wonders as a customer:
What is the value then at the launch of a new model reviews, when manipulated on the quality during the production process by the manufacturer?
Then it would actually further reviews after one year, two years, etc. give the same camera model - to check whether this new camera still has the same performance.
After all, who knows what the currently to be purchased S100 models not everything has been changed or saved high yet - what the customer is also not known to us?
