The following properties should have the new smartphone:
-finger Scanner to protect my data easily from prying eyes
-Wechselbarer Battery, I'm occasionally long outdoor go
-Water, Sometimes for my versatile Outdooraktiviäten even in the rain (walking, jogging, cycling, via ferrata)
-Large Memory, I have lots of maps, MP3 and photos

-Good Display, because my eyes are no longer the best
So far, I used it as a compromise that S3 LTE and the S4 mini. But wanted a device which combines both phones.
Besides Samsung provides no manufacturer to a smartphone with such features. That's why I had taken the Galaxy S5 eye.
However, a handling test taught me better. The S5 is relatively large, heavy and cumbersome. It should also be opened a USB cover to load each time and closed again after loading. A no go because I want my phone via a docking station invite straightforward.
Almost all my wishes fulfilled now since about 4 weeks, the S5 mini. The smaller display and less equipment to S5 (no barometer, slower processor, less RAM and worse Cam) take this into account.
The S5 has a much better screen mini especially outdoors as the S3 LTE and is very compact in the hand. The working speed is sufficient even for very demanding games yet from (the S3 LTE was minimal liquid). The battery lasts in everyday life without sleep mode about 2 full days. In continuous GPS tracking (Perfect with locus per), take pictures / videos, view maps and so about 10 to 12 hours, then the spare battery comes in.
Sound, WiFi, Bluetooth (also car handsfree), telephony, data exchange properly. The finger scanner is great, although not perfect. Class are also touch-Key hardware keys, so the screen remains completely free for applications. Quite nice, I also think the Heart Rate Monitor in conjunction with S-Health, which indicates the pulse quickly and accurately.
The camera could be better with more features, since I often use as a single cam, and my Lumix TZ61 is too heavy and clunky.
From the successor in 1-2 years I would like, among other things in addition to a better cam, more internal memory 32/64 GB internal (it can not be great Games Move to SD card (eg Asphalt 8, Modern Combat).

The S5 mini is in the last 2 months 3 crashed times, and let himself raus only by short battery and reinsert restart. Still 5 stars.

I'm still excited about the device.
However, the S5 freezes mini continues despite an update every 2-3 weeks.
Have now discovered how easily can restart without battery Remove:
Power button and volume minus key very long time (at least 10 seconds).
