However, precisely in this white shine Christopher Young - his skill is fully confirmed in this work. Of particular note here is the 20-minute suite "The Hider", which forms the centerpiece of the soundtrack in its unity. Young united here the main themes of the drama about the consequences of a traumatic childhood and the search of the damaged protagonists for security. As a staple of the composition is the Young Boys' Choir a capella a (popular, but rarely hear better), reminded him of his own childhood in the church choir and the first compositional experiments. In between unfolds an elegiac, suspenseful horror play in the so typical for Young stylistics. To a massive orchestral outbreak occurs however only in one place, and even here it does not expire on too bold or absurd-looking structures. Always the score remains, keep track or only to draw even the psychological levels of the story. Young as pursuing all the virtues of a good film music, which one may forgive because even one or the other quote.
The fact that the other, shorter pieces fall slightly next to "The Hider," in no way diminishes the high and rare value today of this very personal composition.
