This small LED flashlight has 5 modes and is processed well my impression. It is operated with three AAA batteries (AAA) or one 18650 battery. The button operation is in my view more practical than in small models otherwise also usual twist operation. The enclosed manual was not very extensive, but the device is, in my view anyway self-explanatory. The modes are either switched through (complete) on and off, or. When switched on by gently tapping the switch located at the end of the lamp To respect for the practice is therefore that the lamp is the most recent mode off does not noted but always starts when the following mode again. Another feature of the lamp head can be moved backward and forward by the so-called zoom function, whereby the light beam either bundles (when advancing) or flat (when retracting). Depending on the application this can zoom way be handy, I personally prefer the position with the widest dispersion (lamp head fully retracted), because so the largest possible area is illuminated.
I wrote in the title emergency flashlight, can be explained by the peculiarities described in the modes selection. That one on power ever (unintentionally) to the next mode is enabled (and not the most recently used), ensures that you have to look almost every time until the desired Leuchtart which although only takes 1 second, but could with frequent (daily) use possibly be annoying. As a main lamp for regular use, I will not use this model, therefore, but have it from now in the process for all cases in the car, if night time happens a mishap; with only occasional use is the thing to get over to the automatic mode change in my view. And just at car breakdown the SOS function can perhaps sometimes be quite helpful. Oh yes, a detachable hand strap is also included. Since the lamp is quite reasonably priced and overall also makes a fairly solid impression, I forgive despite these criticisms at the end of 4 stars.
