superb masterpiece of Sauerland

Suddenly, founded in Arnsberg 1996 Orden Ogan are back! Without months of announcements, the four countries have worked well Sauer on the songs behind closed doors and bring in the young 2015 their fifth studio album "Rave Head" out. With the previous works "Vale", "Easton Hope" and "To The End", the band has raised the bar for himself and other musicians in this genre placed quite high! "Rave Head" has been created in the same occupation as the superb predecessor and of course again today unfortunately rare Andreas Marschall (Blind Guardian, Obituary) artwork, which is very gloomy and eccentric by the color and the design but different. The band mascot Aleister Veil has remained but did not disappear, but get on the back cover.
Production of songwriter, singer and guitarist Sebastian Levermann sounds very bold, but not too artificial - especially in the drum tracks. The song itself is a blast with a great chorus and a very catchy title. The medieval towns and very worn verses slowly developing and enhancing number "A Reason To Give" is so not seen before in the highlight of his quality loose the level of old Blind Guardian has numbers that no longer write the Krefeld so! In "Here At The End Of The World" and with other pieces of the quartet are good gas and grabs the Metalaxt from. With guest vocalist Chris Boltendahl (Gravedigger) succeeds here the band a showpiece as this beautiful cliché lines like must "The Reaper Is Never Far" warble. Contrast, Hammerfall vocalist Joacim with a short passage in "Sorrow Is Your Tale" despite existing class anstinken.
"In Grief And Chains" then a short instrumental is the end of the disc halbballadesk-bombastic "To Soon" leads us. This always dramatic expectant song is a perfect ending for this but very fresh sounding and varied record in the singer Sebastian also showed the best vocal performance of his life.
