Quality defects and battery life

What has struck me?

+ The display is really great
+ Light weight is also super

- The battery life is extremely short - the pad holds by far by a single day!
- The battery charging time is for incredibly long
- The build quality is clearly worse than usual from our other Samsung products. The frame is in some places does not turn you on, the switch may not work as trustworthy and between display and frame looks a piece of plastic out that so far I could not remove reasonable. Who an iPad from Apple is Stayed, will be disappointed.

- The virtual keyboard does not work sometimes reasonable

The Tab is a product that is in itself correct. After an acclimatization period and the conversion described below, I am satisfied. Considering the quite high price but I expect better quality.

UPDATE 27/11/2014 - have yet decided to convert the tab for another Samsung Galaxy Tab S. A good decision! Apparently the pad was not reasonable mounted - that explains in retrospect also that the automatic brightness control has built crap and the USB plug has been plugged into the charging socket only with great care and fumbling. Kudos to the unbeatable service from Amazon. The pad was exchanged immediately and without much back and forth! They have apologized to me for the problems - which now not really have to. What can AMAZON sure if Samsung tablet not assemble properly. Speed ​​and service are the reasons why we buy repeatedly on Amazon. Absolutely top and worth 5 stars!

UPDATE 02/09/2015 - In addition to the pad I have the matching Samsung - ordered keyboard. These had to be sent back immediately after arrival with quality defects. Seemingly have quality and quality control of Samsung certain problems.
