Everything arrived safely packed in (which I missed a delivery note) and after the small Silent hung (really quiet) PC to my LG LED 42 "TV, I rummaged through the first pre-installed system.
First the negatives:
The so-called "programs" proved mostly to be quite outdated links to download the actual software (free download versions, so nothing really Wertvolles- to the Office version that is fully-compatible with Microsoft). (Caution: Install the software links will then usually there are all useless things like toolbars, search engines, and changes the home page in the browser to install, etc., so always nice install "Custom", disable all unnecessary, never by "Express" !! !)
Because these were not up to date often, there was almost always an upgrade installation. Think here an old image will be playing for years.
Next in the text ... Windows 7 is available only in version installed, but there is a download link to get download a image.
The packaging is the unlock code in, as well as the driver CD of the mainboard, more is not expected to software.
I missed also the Samsung's proprietary SSD tool "SSD Magican", which should be accompanied by real, also it is free (be sure to get).
Well, that annoyed me a bit first, until I then realized that I can not expect a perfectly tuned package for the little money I bought mainly the hardware and Windows 7. So I prefer also no ZIP code, despite the "minuses ".
And here I come to the positive, which has far more of points:
A very quiet, lounge-compatible PC, meticulously crafted, an almost perfectly configured Windows 7 installed - with the subsequent updates to be lived here for about 25 Internet With SSD drives can hardly settings are applied as in regular HDDs, here good solved (to troubleshoot via SSD Magican) except for small flaws, then please still configure the onboard graphics in the BIOS, for example, on "Force" questions and assign 512MB (with more than 4GB of RAM, it may be 1024, thanks to the 64-bit Windows 7 version), although it also runs so, but not so fast.
Then there even a wireless USB receiver in miniature format to (plug and forget), which covers all new transmission speeds.
I'm really excited about the value for money and I set out earlier "smart" whether there is something like it for the money, but I do not even found an approximate alternative (Stand 11/2013).
Either no USB 3.0, no 4GB RAM (Attention, the motherboard only supports to 1066 Ghz), or any SSD, and certainly not with Windows 7 ... and all this in the "Mini-housing".
This part is just as big as a Wii U, although almost twice as high, and I hear nothing now, while the PC is running under load, because I listen to music the way, some tasks have open etc.
An external (internally is no more space) USB 3.0 hard drive should be retrofitted, however, that there are no space problems.
Good hard drives with 1TB offered starting at 50.
Speaking of USB 3.0 --- I find it as opposed to a co-Rezesenten good that the connectors on the back of this,
are, because what is connected there (eg hard drive) is indeed a permanent installation and thus would make me the connection cable on the front interfere visually very.
Only one downside I have to mention:
The company's own logo was wrong stuck on the front ... and I always have it schauen- annoying !!!
What the hell ... I can only recommend the part and I'm a pretty experienced users.
Man (n) must, however, be aware that it can not be a "gaming PC", who but how I, a game console called his own, which ranges from the completely. Movies äugen, surf and paperwork are its strengths.
Surfing the I-net is quite fast, but then please be sure to have a good virus scanner, or a security package plan!
Another tip: I use a stylish RAPOO keyboard in conjunction with a Logitech Trackball, both connect to the PC via a small receiver (again, "plug and forget"), I infected at the two front connectors. So barely visible and can be moved so that up to 5m freely in space. Practical and cool ;-) (By the way, both of me also reviewed)
ps Also worth mentioning is still the low power consumption:
Inkl.des "42" Full LED LG TV "as a monitor and PC that here ... just 85 watts under full load !!!! (via HDMI 1920 x 1080pp)
