Very successful part!

What you expect from a new Tiamat CD? First of all, that it comes at all! The band has left plenty of time and submitted a disc which is musically harmonious, complex, dynamic, atmospherically succeeded and also the sound and booklet ago really good. Pleasant is the fact that Mr. Edlund not as strong nimnmt in his texts on God and Satan respect, but incorporated "everyday" more leaves (if partly with, as usual, unusual vocabulary, such as "Tisnit" - what is and thinks that?). The best example is "The Sun Also Rises" - for me one of the highlights of the album. If one can accuse the album something this that Tiamat sound today as a few years ago (they take only a few pieces of "A Deeper Kind Of Slumber" for comparison). But so what! I do not mind, and the views expressed in individual reviews voices regarding the parallels to The Sisters of Mercy I like only very limited recognized. Even such a reference does not detract from the coherence of the new Tiamat part. What the band has presented here is round, and thus better-quality than its predecessor. And the two live bonus tracks make painfully aware: The band is too rarely on tour. So: buy product!
