Toshiba apparently there are no useful models more or other manufacturers have Toshiba clearly overtaken in recent years. At first I had a no-name TV with good reviews at a glance, but then there was the Samsung 32-inch on offer for only 249 euros on Amazon. I have taken this opportunity.
After unpacking it was clear that with LCD TVs in recent years so much has happened. The Samsung comes almost filigree therefore - it is only about half as thick as the Toshiba, and the border has just 1cm. And yet a satellite receiver is already integrated. Installation is simple - the walk is easily attached, fixed with screws mitglieferten, finished.
From the picture I did not expect all too much, but also pleasantly surprised me. It is after my "big" in anything, whether HD TV, Blu-ray or HD streaming with the Fire TV Stick, everything looks absolutely fabulous - razor sharp with rich colors.
The setting of the Samsung have failed a little spartan, but he has everything important. Very good I think also the light sensor, which weakens the picture brightness depending on the ambient light. I look at bedtime like a little remote - without lighting. There would be a display that runs on 100% brightness, of course for the eyes not very good. But shortly after turning off the light in the room is the display of the Samsung noticeably darker - very pleasant.
What absolutely blows me off the stool, is the sound. Although as an LCD actually has no appreciable sound box, it creates the Samsung to deliver an absolutely bombastic sound - including bass! Of course you can not compare with a large stereo or home theater system, but this thin LCD and sounds better than all tube TV that I've ever had. You can set it so loud that literally shake the walls. I have night stand him only on volume level 3-4, which is enough. By contrast, my tube TV sounded before like an old tin.
The built-in satellite receiver operates reliably, the image quality is 1a, and the adjustment is sufficient. He has everything that have external receiver also - EPG and all the stuff. The time between the change of two stations, is also absolutely acceptable.
The existing connections are minimal but sufficient for me. I connected only the Fire Stick TV and a Blu-ray player.
The only thing that bothers me a little in this TV: He often reacts delayed on the remote control. It's almost as if the remote control go (or the receiver on the TV) after some time in a kind of sleep mode. Anyway, it sometimes takes a few seconds before the TV responds when you press a button on the remote control. Immediately afterwards, he responded again without delay - which brings me to suspect the sleep mode. For this you can hold the remote control as you want - the TV responds. You have to cover it with his hand already, so that does not do anything more. Rarely seen such a powerful remote control that it is only infrared.
All in all, I am absolutely delighted with my second TV. And if my Toshiba times gives up the ghost, I'm going to get for a Samsung's living room, that's for sure. With Samsung I anyway never had negative experiences - no matter what the device.
From my absolute buy recommendation - but do not pay too much. Third-party demand here like to 350 euros, and for that you get even better equipment.
