Whether "Ossi" or "Westerner" and no matter what the GDR era technically or otherwise been possible and what is not: While the boys showed courage and never took a mince words, what in the GDR we all know, could well have very negative consequences. Unfortunately, many City-texts are but clumsy, others simply flat and have the aftertaste of would-be intellectual. The musicianship of the five, however, is at a high level. Not for nothing exists now City for three decades - which may many bands can only dream of. One distinguishes City but beyond that and provides you with the top names in one and the same stage: With "By the window" have Krahl, definitely created Puppel & Co. a piece of German music history! Although it would be purely instrumental certainly have been far better: Thanks to Georgi Gogow and his instrument, the piece is unique and immortal.
