For AmazonBasics Mouse Pad (Black)
+ It has a size of 20.3 x 22.7 cm.
+ It is astonishing 2 mm flat!
+ The material with which the mouse pad is stuck at the top, is of a very fine structure and of noble, black paint, on the even of the small (advertising) Model overprint bottom right looks very good!
+/- However, I ask myself how long in daily intensive use the mouse pad looks so nice, especially since every little speck of dust is visible on the surface. The edge looks sometimes a bit "fibrous" from, but the substance attracts not (yet) threads.
+ The skid resistance on the smooth tabletop is sufficient.
+ The laser mouse has no problems with the fabric surface and works 1a!
Conclusion:
In view of the price not a bad deal, but no acquisition "for eternity", but the expected probably nobody. But for your money you get an equivalent amount. However, I stay at home with my old metal mouse pad and use the new mouse pad on my PC in the company.
Update (26.01.2012): I did not expect. Even after a year, intensive, daily use of the mouse pad looks like the first day. Nothing is frayed, not worn or faded. The part appears to be made for continuous use, especially since all mouse models function properly it!
