1) Brown
I ordered it because it by far had the best reviews. My opinion is that it is completely inappropriate for this kind curls.
But I have my several tutorials on Youtube regarded succeeded only after the 3rd time hinzukriegen a reasonably passable result.
*) The straightener has no key lock and you come constantly to the temperature controller or power button. My hair is sensitive and I would not therefore be used as 170'C. Once accidentally come to the Turbo button and the thing heated to 250'C or so - no thanks!
*) The ion function is somehow ... well ... a bit silly. If one switches on the ion function the straighteners begins to chirp like a cricket. It's true that my hair without the ion-switching were electric, but the sound effect I think is ridiculous.
*) Plus point: Lowest temperature at 150'C - however likely that too little hot for his curls. Under 170'C I never hingekriegt's.
*) Super but make the curls to smooth unwieldy
*) The straightener has no lock but is always apart than "V", which is why it takes a lot of space. This makes it impractical for traveling
2) Remington
As soon as you unpack the much more elegant design stands out: the flat iron is smaller and narrower than the Satin Hair 7 and the edges are rounded. These Remington delivers a black velvet bag with Velcro on the back, which you can mount the bag to a column, shelf, etc. - because who has thought!
*) At the first attempt I got a fantastic result. You can really style of tight ringlets to long waves all you want.
*) The curls fall beautifully and keep with me three days, despite brushing.
*) Temperature Controller starts at 160'C. I never use more than that and get super curls down.
*) Key Lock - Juchuu :)
*) The flat iron can be locked compact
*) The supplied video is okay. But some of the hairstyles I feel rather than defacing the beautiful models. Anyway - that's a matter of taste
Conclusion: both are good straighteners with not 100% but enough to each other are iron. For curls of Remington Sleek and Curl the Braun Satin Hair 7 has beaten hands down. I am very happy and would recommend this product with the fullest conviction.
