** Quality **
The print quality in Normal is already very acceptable for normal documents sufficient. The speed on plain is also fast enough, as long as you do not want to empty the whole tray at a time with about 6 seconds per sheet. Here, however, shows the weakness of the first product: It has been my experience that a completely filled tray is becoming more common misfeeds. The annoying simply because you then have to confirm the misfeed on the device. Similarly, the output tray is suitable for a maximum of 50 pages.
The print quality design is seriously only be designated as such for more than a rough outline reichts not here. Other HP printers, which can sometimes cost less because more!
The quality Optimal contrast is very good, I often order prints flyers and other promotional materials. Here lies one of the strengths of the printer: Borderless printing
This is a true borderless but you have to make sure that the software used fully supported this. (Word 2010 has his problems with it), but will take the expression with Optimal already rather be 40 seconds for a flyer. (Pure documents should go faster)
Be careful when automatic duplex printing!
Unfortunately, this has deviations of up to 2 mm on, so if you want to print promotional material on thin paper here, you should be careful.
** Scanner *
The scanner is an ordinary document scanners. The automatic feeder works pretty well until about 30 sheets, however, is still missing duplex ADF function which unfortunately was only in 8500. If you include already no duplex ADF, the lid for the scanner glass should be at least equipped with liftable hinges. Because this printer does not have this, the scanner glass for books, magazines, etc is NOT suitable.
The quality is fine, on higher DPI levels also are good photos scanned.
** Software and practicality **
The driver software is quite limited when it comes to the setting possibilities. The great feature that the software daraufhinweist if two options can not be used together (Borderless and Duplex for example) is quite nice for inexperienced users, but it sucks big that you can not ignore these messages! Overall, with the driver software is not extensive enough, the home printer for under 100 offer more opportunities there.
The network function is very good, LAN or WLAN are supported, the device using the touch screen is quick and easy. There, the PC software works very well, scanning, printing or faxing is simple and easy from all directions.
The volume when pressure is nice and quiet. There are many louder appliances and few are the quieter. From Standby, the printer wakes up fast enough.
The full range of e-print functions and apps are mostly gimmick, but the e-Print function works very well. If you go on the smartphone opens a pdf and this would revisit it later exactly one sends the simple to the printer. After a minute or two then obtained the status message "Printed".
If something is wrong with the printer, one of the touch screen shows a video on how to fix the problem. This is very handy for laymen!
** Summary **
PRO:
- Fast, good pressure
- Quiet
- Good e-Print function
- Touchscreen with how-to videos
- Start and Forget (Permanent standby mode makes sense)
- Indelible prints
CONTRA:
- Clearing paper misfeeds in to full tray
- Bad drivers for PC
Addendum:
Let me interject here that I find an impossible what is here included to "cartridges". While it is well known way that the setup cartridges contain no ink, however, is on the box, you could create 300 pages with color cartridges approx. The Cyanpatrone failed however after only 12 flyers with a 2cm wide blue border service. (By comparison, I have the same flyer printed with my old printer, it uses HP22 cartridges in which all colors are available in a cartridge This cartridge is also creating 300 pages there handed the blue color for 80 flyer..!)
I think it's an outrage that is lying on the cardboard so! If there would have been: respect cartridge sufficient for only one S ****** then that would be so bad.
