Especially when thinking of having heard all the Melodic Death Metal, this band is so me nothing you along and makes a the (Death) Metal world completely upside down. Just so I am understood correctly, I hear Metal and Death Metal since 1980. Since at least 1985, when the very first death metal album (7 Churches) of Possessed came out. Just so that what I write now hears times can be arranged, and it is not because someone is probably the just 3-5 years Metal!
But now to the album, the part is absolute genius, because Conducting From The Grave spend the miracle really orignell, fresh and non-consumption to sound on their debut album (an EP gave it in advance). Here are several metal element equal derat skillfully blended that the result sounds absolutely awesome. But what makes this band now so unique? First CFTG combine a very technical style, with relative many riffs and occasional changes in tempo, in addition there are totally strong, just so hinstrozende right melodic Leadguitarren. They are joined by then every now and then a mediator Eastern sounds that I can classify only vaguely, but believe me just these peppers such sounds makes the overall sound absolutely fresh and just orginell. And the best is that sounds all this not to overloaded, no, the band accomplishes the small miracle that everything stays compact enough so that the listener never the risk of losing the ublerblick, will mean everything is understandable enough.

This is best for so an album that never threatens to become boring, play even after the umpteenth time, I am always surprised to hear somewhere new nuances that you have not previously performed properly again.

Stylistically, you can see the band with the last (and best Death album) "The Sound of Preseverence" comparisons because then Death (1998) played at about the same high technical level, but CFTG not sound as heavy as that album. But do not worry which are heavy enough lol definitely on Death Metal fans. Then I was comparing it definitely also with the early Dark Tranquillity things (for me by far the best death metal band). I think specifically of "Skydancer" and "The Gallery". But somehow CFTG are still technical. I think this band should just any death metal fan who at least contract also techical things necessarily check them out, otherwise you slept yet an absolute highlight!
