The pros of the Nikon P300
- Class processing. very high-quality housing, excellent workmanship
- Low weight (to be 190g). The Nikon fit into my Brusstasche. Perfectly
- The picture quality is, for the size of the camera, outstanding. I can only agree with the positive assessments of Vorrezensenten. Until ISO 400 you can keep up almost with a DSLR. For the "normal" use completely sufficient.
- Shooting in dark places are really excelling good
- Faster shutter
the small (for me) negative aspects
- By design, the camera has no viewfinder, what person in bright surroundings something bothers me, because something "good luck" photographed on.
- The connection of the data cable on the underside is somewhat impractical in my opinion
Since I'm not a filmmaker I do not assess this aspect of the camera. I have it tested and it works :-) It should be put on the setting also produces over 1 key and thus very convenient. But I do not use it.
After the first week and about 300 images an initial conclusion:
Just as I have vorgstellt my first compact camera: Always with you, you do not notice and when you need them, it makes very good pictures. Perfect.

Supplement for half a year:

Unfortunately, I have to say that I made the recession after a week and relatively few images (at consistently good lighting conditions).
Now that I have the camera 6 months (about 2,500 images), my conclusion is rather sobering.
There is but very quickly a noise and a pixel mud detectable.
At the beginning I had probably some "lucky shot". This has then placed yet.
Especially images with more diffuse light are hardly viewable. And right here I had promised me from the lens with an initial aperture of 1.8 more. Unfortunately, the camera is unable to implement the.
Now I'm going to re-establish a new camera ... and more attention to decent sensor size and a decent lens.
