The problem with this motherboard is that it - not reproducible for me - every now and then forgets the BIOS settings. It may be that it has to do with the way too easily accessible (and out standing) "Reset" button on the back - I could swear to have not arrived, but again and again the settings are gone.

Why is this a problem? Well, if, for example, Windows 8 will be installed, and to set up the EFI boot manager, then anything goes. Until suddenly the settings are gone. Then the thing will not boot. And I can not say when it will happen again. So I can not leave this board good conscience any customers because of one day could no longer boot on the other PC.

Resetting the settings should only happen in exceptional cases, but in this board it happens all too often - and obviously much too easy if you can trigger the reset unintentionally. Therefore, I can only guess - Stay away.

For the BIOS flashing the stars of the animated wallpaper, while the CPU load increases to 100%, and I senseless features like an air-drying function (-?! ASRock Dehumidifier Function - is even in the description) find. Hopefully the water extracted from the air does not set off the lines and causes a slight.

I would recommend this motherboard - ASRock and probably in general - no longer buy.
