This time we bought the Cookware Series Gamma and were not entirely satisfied, because it significantly sacrificing quality knowledge. On the other hand, our expectations were perhaps too high, at such a low price you can not expect too much perhaps:
- Overall, the pots are quite light and thin-walled. This has advantages when handling course, but if you really work with it, we have the impression that easily buckling / deformation / scarring occur. A small scratch was on a pot when we unpacked it, would not be so bad if you did not have to worry about that easily come to more scarring.
- Where the handles are welded to the pot, four point-like welding or tacking points can be seen that stand by somewhat irregular surface. The Henkel were already firmly on the pot, but a little bad feeling about something "unloving" mounted attachment points we had. Maybe it bothers even a little optics and one wonders whether the agencies probably oxidize one day.
As a reference the other hand we had the pots of other brands much more expensive, you can see the differences in quality but also in price. So for the most reasonable price, the pots are okay.
This cookware set is incidentally one of the few that are available today, which still has metal cover. Metal lid have the advantage that they do not break down as fast during fall down, but of course the disadvantage that you can not see but lift the lid has to be seen in the pot. You get today in special offers for 99 euros quite better quality Potsets (5 instead of 4 pots), but with a glass lid. Who sets need for other Potsets (amazingly) pay significantly more on metal lid value.
