I've really tried some in-ears and was never satisfied. Either the sound was modest (eg Sennheiser CX300II), the wearing comfort is not worth mentioning (JBL) or percussive Cable (HTC One in-ear, were from sound as an adjunct really okay but not for sports).
The Sound Magic are really for 40 euros a blast. The sound is punchy but always pleasant (eg no hissing sounds). The exact frequency bands do not matter, because you can adjust this with a pre-EQ and they change through the different earbuds are included (there are those with thin and thicker "openings")! The important thing is enough "pressure" and no painful or tiring frequency peaks (such as at the Sennheiser CX300II). The stereo playback is impeccable.
The delivery is also absolutely great: carrying case and many ear essays! Processing is impeccable. In black and silver look dark iPhone 5s very even worthy in shape and color and are a good team.
So: buy and enjoy the music.
