Unwrapped I consider a very flat and handy tablet in my hands. The battery was charged partially, so that I could start it immediately. The operating system is Android 4.4.2 KitKat one is installed and it is easy to set up. Besides the typical rocker switches for volume control has a 3.5mm jack for headphones is installed, a Micro-USB port, a connector for the supplied charging plug and a slot for Micro SD cards.
The device controlled wireless, but no Bluetooth and has no GPS receiver. Likewise, the port lacks a HDMI device. This is not to be expected in a device in this price range. The tablet is only mainly to use indoor, otherwise very reflects. Outside in the sunshine, and above all, it is almost useless.
The front and Backcam are not worth mentioning, they are more suitable for snapshots. Here should be definitely not a priority. The quality is not worth seeing.
The quality of the speaker is within the scope of the price. There's nothing great to expect. Who wants to have a better quality sound, grabs the headphones.
Photos, also from an SLR that have been copied to your tablet, to scroll quickly by wiping, videos iso files via VLC Player also run smoothly. As a multimedia device of this tablet is so capable.
Games also work. So the app "Racing Fever" runs smoothly and without any problems.
If the battery is empty, the tab needs to be fully charged for about 4 hours. However, I have noticed that you can not play any games in the charging mode, as they are slowed down or interrupted the flow.
After about 2 weeks I could not connect from the USB port on my laptop. Therefore, I contacted the seller (Rixow), who provided me free you a new connecting cable available. However, it has been found that not the connection cable is faulty, but the USB port of your tablet device. Since I had installed but some paid apps and I have refrained to return the Tablets to the manufacturer, has generously paid me Rixow a gesture of goodwill, a part of the purchase price. Although the service of Rixow the German language is not as powerful, but the service is more than accomodating :-)
I exchange data between my laptop and the Tablet now made via microUSB card. Is not a problem.
Since the Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) it is no longer allowed to provide to external SD card write access from outside or from 3rd party apps, I've been trying to root the device. The rooting has so far not worked out, I still can not find a tool that would rooten the device. If it has managed anybody, I would be very grateful for info.
The manual is very scarce, only written in English and available in very small sizes. Who is not familiar with the Android operating system, will have any problems with the device. There is also no German translation in the I-net for download.
So far there are no crashes or other runtime problems. Apps can be easily installed and functioning as it should be.
All in all you can expect here a good tablet. My kids and the whole family are excited about this tablet. On one hand, you can quickly retrieve messages or times times Find information about the current TV program. On the other hand can with the kids in bad weather play nice educational games and have fun.
