First, I was relieved that the phone came in the manufacturer version 4003 that is supposed to have fewer problems than the two predecessors.
But the joy did not last long.
After inserting the battery and connecting the charging station itself did not say anything. I thought it might take some time until the battery is slightly charged before you can do something with the phone. But after half an hour it was still dead. The phone was obviously no power.
When searching for the cause I've noticed that the metal pin in the left charging contact of the charging station was lower than the right. Using forceps, I pulled him, and already there was contact and I could charge the phone. However, I always had to make sure that the phone is not too much inclined to the right in the cradle, otherwise cancels the current contact. The metal pin always slips back down into the enclosure from, because unlike the other pin is no spring action up.
I let the phone therefore go back again. It looked the way completely unused, so seems to have been not a Vorkäufer damaged returned goods. What about quality control, AVM?
