Then had long quarreled with me, but if I should try again with a new lamp it now. Since I am a triathlete and somehow have to come on my bicycle kilometers, I had to go as an alternative to working in the basement on the role - what I hate. So I invested .....
But now to the lamp:
The lamp is mounted on the handlebars and sits there firmly, without slipping. On the small (but large) XL battery is simply attached with a secure Velcro fitting.
The lamp lights up with 100, 70 and 30 percent and has a flashing function. When I turned on the lamp for the first time, I was thrilled. I was even more excited when I realized that the lamp was only at 30% on power.
In the forest itself you can actually rely on the advertising image on the home page or on the packaging (illumination in the forest). The trail is easy evenly illuminated 100 meters bright and above all. But must admit that I still mostly go with the 100%. Have the XL battery and this holds in this operation, at least at the autumnal temperatures, easy 5-6 hours.
The darker it is, the better then comes the effect of the lamp to bear.
But there's a reason that the lamp is not approved for road traffic. When the streets are illuminated anyway, such a lamp is completely unnecessary and will not give protection but it blinds oncoming traffic extremely. This becomes particularly clear when one comes another cyclist contrary in the forest. If you want no quarrel, it makes sense to cover the light sooner or short in front of you on the floor to judge. Otherwise it is really dangerous for the other. But experience has shown a part of the forest in the dark almost alone.
Overall, a big thumbs up and highly recommended for the forest. For the road is not necessary. An investment that has paid off. As you drive on the way home like so many extra training kilometers through the dark forest.
