I ordered this LED strip as backlight for my TV (Panasonic 50 '') and deliberately a bar with a USB port chosen because I hoped this easy to connect via the USB port on the TV (TV on / LEDs on). Unfortunately, this funtioniert not, would have also been nice. The TV is at the start immediately an error message (Overvoltage on USB ... bla bla ...) and crashes. Fortunately everything was ok after the restart. So I have the LED-bar now connected via a standard USB charger ... very pleasant to watch TV. Who the LEDs are too bright of them simply will not stick directly to the edge, but a little further inside, so you can adjust the brightness of his needs.
