After about two months of continuous use I would like to write a review for the Sony Xperia M. Assuming that this smartphone belongs to the Mid-length segment, it is brilliant! It has almost never any annoying interruptions which, as had my predecessors, the Samsung Galaxy Y and the Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray. Everything runs fast and smooth (App Drawer, Google Chrome, etc.). The touch screen (or touch screen? ^^) Can be operated super. The criticized by many resolution I can not complain. Even if the phone does not dissolve with HD or even Full HD, the screen contents are keen to recognize. The mobile phone is great in the hand and in my opinion just the right size. A Xperia Z1 / 2, I would find there again unwieldy. The Sony UI which Everts, the Group had the pure Android over it can really be seen. She has practical functions that are missing the "pure" Android from Google, as I see it, at least. Furthermore, the Sony UI is simple and straightforward, as opposed to Samsung's TouchWiz example. The camera of the phone is sufficient. Of course she does with only 5 megapixels is not the best pictures ever, but for a cell phone camera perfectly okay. The front camera, however, does not make such great pictures. Sie.wirken always easily washed out and sometimes slightly blurred. That bothers me but not because I could even do without a front camera. The operating time is also top and can be due to Sony's Stamina mode even further improved (to activate this mode, all Internet connections are disconnected when the screen is off to save battery. You can then specify apps that are excluded from it and thus still further Internet connection have). The Xperia M has no physical buttons (ie home button, back button and application button) but buttons onscreen. Although this is a slight change, but man.gewöhnt it quickly. Is also very nice that Sony in its entry-level models incorporating a status LED. So you can on these devices to call a flashing signal missed with unread messages, etc.. The only negative for me is that Sony probably KitKat no Android 4.4 will release the Xperia M. But completely over is the hope not, because on the manufacturing side, the current Android 4.3 Jelly Bean is not noted as a final release version of the M. With luck might come but one last update. So as you can see I am very satisfied with the device :) Update 01:10:14: Have now only noticed that a few strange typos have crept ^^ Oh, and Android 4.4 has now completed yet. But it is worth nevertheless to buy the equipment!
