If a dealer I bought shortly afterwards also a 4000.
The surprise was enormous when I realized that this keyboard was much worse. The exterior was completely identical. The keys sounded and looked rickety. The spacebar jammed if it is not pressed exactly in the middle. The quick launch buttons respond with delay. If you move your fingers from the keyboard you get the feeling it is stirred in a pile of Lego bricks.
How can you tell the difference:
Is located at the bottom of the keyboard a Product id:
In the rickety keyboard of this is as follows: 734 623 OEM 0857422-10818. It appears, type: OEM
When quality is the string "OEM" somewhere between the rows of numbers.
With some effort, I managed the keyboard against a convert with no "OEM".
And with this new I am very satisfied.
Oh: Your ergonomic advantages come with this keyboard only when 10-finger system recorders really make a difference.
