The story is not bad, but I admit to not having hung on the author's writing style, and I have taken time to immerse myself in the relationship of the two characters. Their replicas are clumsy and lacking in fluidity. The author wanted to convey emotion, especially with the past Howard, but it lacks depth.
However, the two characters are attractive: Howard, the tough guy, manly, which has had its share of misfortune during his childhood, and also has built a sturdy shell that his physical. Kat comes from a loving family, she is sweet, and is desperate to bring down his tack. For this, it develops patience treasures.
The shy young woman, will be downright wanton by the beautiful Apollo, and one or two scenes make up .... vapors. Fire !!!
On the other hand, I found that there were some inconsistencies in the plot of the story, especially when the psychopath likes to burn houses handcuffing young women to beds. He takes pictures of them to send to Howard, who alert the authorities. But I find that everyone remains passive face all these murders, the characters are rather inactive.
Moreover, even if the outcome is predictable, it lacks credibility (just fetched the blow of revenge !!).
However, the author has placed his pieces for the events. Indeed, it has forged close links with secondary characters, I would still like to find out later in the series.
The story is good, the characters are nice, but you must love this style of writing !!!
