Description: the 48mm battery, as offered here always fits. - I would not sign.
In the Triumph-5000 battery does not fit without chips on the inner life, because battery too long. Either shortening the spring or to chips on the two plastic ends.
I have deliberately chosen this battery, which is longer because this has more capacity. The shorter has less capacity.
Advantage:
- 48mm = more capacity
- The metal tabs on the ends are thin and flexible (very important!)
- The metal tab at the negative terminal is also located offset and fits beautifully (important).
Disadvantage:
- Too long for Triumph 5000. You have to potter in the spring, so that it fits.
Recommendation on my part:
- Soldering iron (not too big tips) + solder
- Solder flux would be very helpful. It facilitates the soldering enormous.
- Mini side cutter (alternatively Nagelschneider / caliper)
- There is an installation manual, in which you cut off the metal tabs from the original battery and solder the tabs of the new battery to it. Display therefore does not need to be dismantled. Danger to solder the board broken, is eliminated.
The battery lasts only times super. I still have no long-term experience.
