When you open the package you can first remove the two supplied 3D glasses.

The package still belong next to the TV along with the foot and the aforementioned 3D glasses screws for attachment of the foot, 2 remotes (I will get to later), an IR extender (also mentioned below), CI + Adapter, a small cable clamp ( helps to merge the cables behind the television), batteries and the power cord.
----- Appearance / processing -----
The TV makes a high impression, the foot - chrome - missed the whole thing a nice touch.
The frame is made of Plexiglas and the front of the TV is made of piano lacquer.
Thanks to the appropriate size foot, the device is also rock solid.
Overall, the workmanship is on a very good level. The design is a matter of taste. I personally find it gelugnen.
----- Construction / Initial -----
The construction of the unit is quick equip. The foot is secured by 8 screws and a bracket for the TV.
After the first start the initial setup is performed.
In addition to date / time, Internet connection, etc. can be used here, the IR Extender (IR = infrared). If you take the integrated receiver a set-top box (STB / receiver) used can be the IR Extender to use the TV remote to the STB to calibrate. Thus, you can save an additional remote control then.
Since I use the internal receiver, I can not tell how far this function fulfills its service.
The tuning went extremely fast by Equip.
----- Image Quality -----
So, we now come to the most important probably point to a TV, the image quality.
The picture is "right out of the box", so using the default settings, pretty neat.
This is my only point of criticism, because the perfect image is acquired only through the manual setting.
For me personally, the colors were a little too heavy red by default.
After some intensive settings but I can now say:
The picture is just awesome!
Compared to my "old" television (D-series // 2011. I mean) are worlds between the quality of the image. Natural and bold colors, sharp picture and also the 400 Hz do their job perfectly.
For this purpose, however, a note:
In the image settings is also the "field" Motion Plus. Default setting is "Standard"
Motion Plus helps to keep the image in fast motion sharp. Mich has this feature almost blown away because I have this sharpness previously not pot.
Anyway, it seems to me as if the TV to "learn" how and when he has to use this feature.
After turning, there were occasional small "mini-stuttering" in the image (usually in people), which was connected with MotionPlus.
But after about half a day operation is nothing more to see and the focus goes smoothly from the stage.
Alternatively, you can also turn off this feature, but I find it awesome and let it therefore turned on.

The TV provides course with HD material the best image results but also the SD channels or normal DVDs are displayed very sharp.
The 2D to 3D conversion works MMN quite good, although I prefer 2D in normal operation.
In summary, the picture of this unit exceeded my expectations. So does television really fun!

I have now times looked at the film Avatar in 3D BluRay.
The 3D quality has surprised me really. I see virtually no disadvantage compared to the 3D effect in the movies.
But you should make sure that you look the 3D movie in a fairly dark environment, since too much light through the small side Flackerer the shutter glasses are seen.
In a dark room but these have disappeared and the 3D movie may have its full splendor.
Personally, I find the 3D quality outstanding.

An important criterion is of course beside the image of the sound.
The internal speakers deliver solid sound. I was surprised that even a little bass will be heard.

The Smart Hub. This feature is the TV up a notch more for the entertainment center.
There are for this model very many apps that you can use. So among other things, Amazon Instant Video, which has given me a joy because I no longer had to call as before about my Blu-ray player this.
In addition to Amazon Instant Video, all other gängingen streaming services such as Watch Ever, Netflix, etc. max cathedrals as apps are available.

Suitable for the Smart Hub is also a smart remote control that comes in addition to the classic remote control.
I knew only not quite sure what should be on this small remote control now "smart" (apart from the size).

--- Ultra Clear Panel ---
As some have already been discussed here, Samsung has, from its ES (2012) no Ultra Clear Panel more installed in the 6 ...- series.
The Ultra Clear Panel reflects a lot more, but also provides a better black level and thus the image on such a panel seems a bit more brilliant.
I agree with that - my old TV to the D-series had such a panel, and the black level was better in fact.
Anyone familiar with the Ultra Clear Panel, could miss the missing in this series.
BUT: You can conjure up this TV with a little fine-tuning the image settings to a level that the Ultra Clear Panel comes extremely close.
And thus win this television clearly the race for the image quality compared to the older models of the 6-series, since he has been on the one hand and on the other the newer 400Hz technology.
Those who want to achieve the absolute best picture quality, must be in the 7 Series ...- or look it. These models have re-installed an Ultra Clear Panel. But I do not want to pay the price for this :-)

A final conclusion, this now but slightly longer become Review:
The television provides a (after a short adjustment) excellent picture both in SD and HD material.
400Hz Motion Plus + function, the images razor sharp on the "ground glass" slide, which still fascinates me.
Also on the no longer existing Ultra Clear Panel can do without.
The sound of the speakers and the very generous feature in the form of Smart Hub and the numerous connections round the whole package perfectly.
This TV is a true experience for the eyes - and at this price.
Strong buy recommendation on my part. I have not looked back.
Who wants more (Ultra Clear Panel) has a range up to the H7 ...- models - as well as pay the price for this.
