Both my batteries were fully charged. Otherwise, the two batteries can be charged simultaneously in the small charging station. Battery and micro SD card must be inserted into first in the camera. If necessary, the camera is then inserted into the waterproof protective housing. This protective housing is completely waterproof and can be quickly opened with one hand thanks to large snap.
There are only three buttons, which can of course be operated by the protective case from the outside to the camera. The screen on the back can also be well regarded by the case. Only in blazing sunshine it is somewhat difficult to identify the image or video on the screen.
Who bears the camera on the head or helmet, does not look constantly at the screen. A beep indicates, however, when the recording is started or stopped by pressing a button. Just fine.
Various settings are very helpful. And with this cheap camera can be adjusted, as I would have expected more so. In addition to standards such as brightness, contrast, resolution, white balance and much other interesting things are possible. The time can be changed up to the nearest second, if necessary date and time is shown on the photographs. On top of the Loop function, here's a video is continuously rotated. If the memory card is full, it is overwritten by new front.
I am surprised at the really good picture quality. Exteriors are well above average, better than expected. Very natural. Indoor shots, despite missing flashlight still vividly (low noise) and also be assessed as above average. For very fast movements, the pictures are unfortunately often recorded blurred. The videos are going smoothly, even in sports. Longer recordings are stored satisfactorily.
Image files are saved in .jpg format.
Video files are saved in the format .mov.
A data cable for transmission from camera to PC is, as mentioned above in the package. Transfers happen quickly.
Could convince the processing of the device. The housing is matt, so fingerprints are not immediately visible. The camera housing has repeatedly made the departure and has not suffered.
What I do not like the cover under which memory card connectors and hide. This small lid is loose and falls when opening you up. Here would have been desirable a firm connection between the cover and camera.
Conclusion: The Action Cam makes surprisingly good photos. It impresses with a simple and easy handling. Today is brought so much to the German market, because I am particularly pleased to get a German manual and German menu navigation. The accessories is enormous. And then there's this model also still the same top of a 32GB memory card brands. If I'm honest, the camera is much too low ... An absolutely recommendable bargain!
