Well I particularly like that the tablet is pretty small and handy (the Galaxy Tab against acts already clunky). Surfing, e-mail, listening to music and everything you anyway already knows from his Android phone to go with this problem - it reacts most liquid and the work is fun. Eventually, if you do not want to play degree Compute-intensive games, then it is recommended that the processor to "Optimal" run because the processor is operated with more than 800MHz and the battery lasts at least during normal surfing no less than his 7-8 hours.
For the people who have often times Europe a power cable, it is advisable to let the battery run at 1GHz (since latest firmware update is now called "turbo mode"), so everything is really really nice liquid, the website construction is a little faster, Games no longer stutter and it feels as if Android and all its effects for this device has been made. Then, however, the battery lasts a maximum of 4-5 hours, which is still sufficient. The standby lasts forever, since I am not as yet come to the (battery) border (you should only take care, that no application in the background uses the Wi-Fi connection, otherwise still pulls them during the standby power).
Here again my personal advantages summarized:
+ Touchscreen responds promptly
+ Screen is nice color intensive
+ Stereo speakers are at least better than I had expected, for video and one or the other piece of music it was good enough (audiophiles, the line will be happy to read)
+ Battery keeps its promises (see note above)
+ 3D applications and games will all be displayed smoothly, even some who otherwise only run on the Galaxy Tab (eg Dungeon Defender)
Of course, all is not sweetness and light in the device, I've already found one or another disadvantage:
- Screen reflects like hell, best to avoid any light in the back - otherwise you bought a rather expensive mirror
- The unit now and then crashes times in "turbo mode" from. Even by itself, if it is just lying around in the area - is not too dramatic, has never happened in the important things with me; otherwise leave just running at 800MHz
- The HDMI output is well and good, but in my opinion about - for presentations, I would buy myself another device, not the Archos Tablet 7.0. The Archos screen then black and you have to guess where you hinklickt on the screen. Not recommendable ...
- The Android keys are not installed as hardware, but integrated into the software. Takes place away from the screen and jerky terribly when using eg the control Kreutz in 3D applications
All in all I would not equal having to boot up a computer the device anyone who wants'd like to surf from the couch. Even someone who (hopefully soon to be released, at the moment, the yield is still lean) will want to play 3D games on a 7-inch screen with multi-touch have been thrilled at the device. Paperback replacement and eReader are also side effects that the Archos 7.0 super masters.
IPad enthusiasts and audio and video Phile is recommended the unit to leave and would rather save on an iPad, all others: buy the part.
