According to the packaging the control does not work only on Android but also on Windows and BlackBerry devices.
The cable has original beats quality and packaging have it connected to my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 loud, silent, play, pause, next / previous track and S-Voice function properly.
Am super happy with the cable, strong buy recommendation even if the cable is overpriced with 30.
