In Linux immediately identified but unfortunately incompatible with hostapd

The stick is nicely compact and has the comparatively large antenna and good reception. In Linux it is immediately recognized by the kernel and can be directly installed and used. A total he acts because of the small size and of the material but not very robust.

Unfortunately, the chip used is not supported by hostapd. My intention was to use this stick on a Raspberry Pi as an access point (with ad blocker / firewall) for smartphones and tablet here at home. That did not work. Unfortunately, my problem was consciously hostapd only after the purchase. Not every Linux-enabled WLAN stick is also supported by the software. But is not an error of the stick!

For those who want to "just" connect to the internet via WLAN the stick is a good choice.
