I only became aware of the books by the television series, and now make up for the reading material, as I usually prefer to first know the book before filming. So it is very exciting to see the book the exact thoughts of the characters, which indeed is not always possible with a cinematic transposition.
The books are written class, the plot is incredibly captivating and we are probably all eager to see what the good George for the last two books still comes up with;)
In English the whole thing is also entirely feasible. You walk in quickly and especially if you are familiar with the series, can be me so much open up out of context. The advantage of the English version is not only the price but also the names of people and places. Jon Snow sounds I think now even better than Jon Snow)
Regarding the presentation:
The series of books in a slipcase makes great. The material and the quality is better than expected. I think it is relatively stable and the transport has left no damage to me. The book covers are beautifully designed and throughout it looks really great from.
On the thin paper and the closely printed pages you have to get used to a little while, but I noticed already in several English books and most seem to correspond to their standard. Once the story has, however, a chained times, it no longer falls on anyway;)
As a result, I can recommend the books just warmest heart. Whether you get in as a freshman or is already addicted to the television series, you meet the right choice here.
