This HOTAS is not bad far from it. The number of buttons is impressive (over 30 not counting the two additional modes and mouse function), the use is simple and effective, the LEDs are configurable (green, red or amber), a utility is present, and the whole provides incredible playability. My Elite Dangerous parties are much more intense and much more funs, my vessels actually spins in all directions! So why this note? And although the price is a problem. For almost 200 Saitek offers us a HOTAS all plastic which, despite its strengths, is still nothing less than a big toy. My doubts about the soundness have unfortunately confirmed it a few weeks ago: the throttle will more thoroughly because it abuts against the wheel to adjust the downforce. Even worse, halfway through the handle grip and strong plastic emits a loud noise when I press a little harder. Yet the subject is almost new.
Today I called the service Saitek. An operator will answer me soon and will email me to help me to replace the item. The service seems a priori serious, but having to change HOTAS after months of game that speaks volumes about the quality of the product all relative. I will update my review based on replacement.
In conclusion this HOTAS is not bad but I expected more for the price. For those who have the means I think the Thrustmaster Warthog serve better because of its metal construction. But then count 350 or more.
