Due to the acquisition was the project to make pork and pork neck to brining to grill ham in BBQ Smoker. To shorten the Curing time to two days I decided on Spritzpökeln.
Here's a nutshell Pros and Cons:
+ Large capacity, yet handiness
+ One-hand operation possible, ie also raising through the cannula comes with one hand
+ Good ergonomics
+ Cannula has two side openings and is closed at the top, so the openings can not become clogged with meat
+ Close
+ Easy to clean, in the piston can screw a dishcloth
- The cannula can be tighten by hand, but difficult to solve again without tools. Go, but hard ...
Except for the one drawback I am fully satisfied with the Marinierspritze RÖSLE. Each 300 gr brine were injected close instantly in the two hams. I would buy the syringe again.
Now the grill ham just have to taste :)
