I use the tripod to mount my little telescope Which was too heavy for a simple "hama" photo tripod. This is simply put the perfect tripod for this application, it can handle 9 kilo's and my telescope wheighs only 5 kilo's so it is the perfect match. So I use the Manfrotto MVH502AH PRO FLUID VIDEO HEADS; Perfect Combination, fluid movements is required for astronomy. The tripod is sturdy, stable, and I recommend it highly for all photographers and spotters who want a big lens on Their camera, of who want to use a small telescope without having to buy at astronomical mount. I have not used it yet for photography but this is on my to-do list, it will no doubt be perfect so! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, very good quality. worth every euro / dollar / penny etc ...
