Unsurprisingly starts "Mac And Devin Go To High School" with a song called "Smokin 'On". Drumma Boy is here the responsible producer, so the track has achieved a touchdown South Style, plus the usual drums to an overall quite relaxing piece. What is at stake, everyone can imagine. You can tell that Snoop Dogg working with young men seem to do well, because it shows how vicious he can be when he wants. The highlight is yet Three 6 Mafia member Juicy J at the start, the one-off Flow fits perfectly. Completely different, namely nice funky and tasteful wummert the Warren G Production "I Get Lifted" from the Speaker and immediately lets the California sun from our speakers seem. Here Latoiya Williams decorated with an almost breathy chorus, in which you can hear at Warren, the Ode to the grass. It continues with "You Can Put It In A Zag, I'mma Put It In A Blunt". This time it's Exile, the Mac and Devin aka Snoop and Wiz has equipped with a dreamy instrumental. Like the rest of the album is the excellent Smash to just lie in a deck chair - with or without Mary Jane.
The really great thing about "Mac and Devin Go To High School" is that the songs while all resemble somewhere, distinguished by the many different Star Producer however and always provide new highlights. So the quality of tears even at "6:30" or the damn groovy "Talent Show" not from, but remains at a consistently high level. Jake One missed "Let's Go Study" a quiet, emotional touch, which screwed up the pace down, along with Snoop's voice but also involves a real goosebumps. For "Young, Wild & Free" you do not need much more to say well, the piece is now even in German (!) Played Radio. Of course, the thing absolutely mainstream is fit, not least because of Bruno Mars, but this is due to anything bad, is this ingenious earwig character.
Who would as a feature on such an album better fit as Curren $ y? Exactly, no one! And that is why he is at the start. "OG" revolves not like once with Ice-T to Original Gangsters, but a - how could it be otherwise - to dope. As already indicated above is the content absolutely no revolution, but the three again so awesome packed by an instrumental and smoothes the cool flow that you simply may need. "French Inhale" is probably the only song that I find a bit boring person, but packs a "You Could Be Easy" at once, what is further enhanced with the somewhat spacey "World Class". Especially Wiz Khalifa with his singing sounds just awesome here, but also the Doggfather blends well with the chilling guitar sounds and freaky synth sounds. Rounding out the not very long with 12 songs album with "That Good". The beat is pumping here a little more powerful, nevertheless we are experiencing a recent, extremely relaxed Hit.
I never thought that I would ever be a Snoop Dogg album again 5 star. If you compare it with his classic "Doggystyle", the proportionality the score maybe incorrect and too high. However, I found the plate really scary excited and no major weaknesses revealed. Of course, there may a case not mind that it is "Mac and Devin Go To High School" revolves around smoking weed, smoking weed and again Kiffen - but that it probably does not fan of both.
