Then, when the Fire TV stick came out, I ordered one for the living room.
The differences are unfortunately still very large, but it is in the nature of things.
The box is ansich Arrow Fast and reacts to everything without bucking.
The stick is a bit undersized but with half the power.
The surface jerky to himself, and the remote control is processed far worse.
The pressure points are much harder and it summarizes also cheaper to.
However, this is not the end, because somewhere the price difference must indeed be noticeable.
But the drive also has advantages over the box.
So the stick is highly mobile and sometimes quickly connected to a projector or TV mini-camping.
Despite the jerks the surface, the videos run absolutely correctly.
Here my eye noticed no jerking or twitching.
We especially recommend the installation of the media player Kodi, which one really
can do everything in the Media area with the stick.
The differences at a glance to the great Fire TV
- Small and portable
- Less power consumption
- Poor processing (remote control)
- Performance rather average (surface jerky)
Otherwise, I'm absolutely satisfied with the device and can not with a clear conscience recommend it!
Addendum:
I now have so read some reviews here and can not understand in most any where
the problem is.
Many give WLAN problems, which I did not.
Joined the Fire TV Stick is via wifi to a T-Com Hybrid router the 2.4 Ghz band.
The router is actually 2 rooms away, yet I have neither the look nor crashes
any unexplained stuttering during playback.
Either there is a massive quality scattering or some may not be your networks reasonable
configure, or stick with some routers incompatible.
Anyone who has a broken get stick, but the possibility has to make a free exchange
to let.
Try it, the new drive should then have the same problems, so you can still
leave negative feedback.
I for one have no problem with the stick and am satisfied for the 19 Euro (special price).
