Since the new 2014er Fire HD7 tablets (the series that no longer "Kindle", but only "Fire" is called) support yes now finally connecting USB storage devices, so I needed a small and low-cost USB stick Micro-USB adapter. So I came to the Verbatim drive. It's really small and compact. At first I thought there would be something missing, as adapter and drive are assembled so that one thinks, if it were only one component. But of course you can separate the really tiny USB flash drive adapter, and then use this as a normal USB 2.0 Stick on PC. But I needed my doing it for the Fire tablet and works wonderfully, is recognized immediately. The adapter piece I then tried sometimes with another of my USB flash drives, and works flawlessly. So you are not dependent here only to use the Verbatim drive.
