A very similar charging station I have for my blue Playstation 3 Slim, however, from the brand Lioncast. So I am extremely pleased.
At Christmas, I now get the Speedlink Twindock charging station for the PS4, since the official charger from Sony was sold out.
I am extremely unhappy with the Speedlink charging station!
At first I thought that the charging station works ... until then eventually both white PS4 Controller middle playing were shown to be empty! I thought this can not be, I have the controller but always put back after playing in the cradle (also looks better than when the controller loosely lying around). As it turned but found the charging station has never worked properly! But I still played with the "remaining charge" the battery of my two controllers, as were probably already charged when you unpack the console.
I then researched on the Internet and wanted to know if other players have the same problem with the charging station. The responses were very mixed: in some the charging station lights up yellow or blue depending on the charge level of the controller. In Internet forums, but many owners have complained about defective charging stations. In other words, my defective unit is not alone!
It starts when you want to put the controller into the charging station: The whole thing is a total wobbly affair, I still had to charge each time you attempt the controllers fear that they struck me to the ground. A closer look reveals that the Mini USB connector of the charging station (where are the Controller reingesteckt) are mounted totally wrong! It is not a contact about, unless you keep charging station controller and all the time in hand and pressed / presses both together to bring an electrical contact state.
Unfortunately I got the charger as a gift, have therefore no receipt and it can not exchange. Pity for money!
Pay me now, the original Sony Store charging station, which is a little more expensive, but is definitely worth the money!
