To my body:
I have a wall-mounted television, among which takes on a Lowboard the Soundbar place. This I have connected via Toslink cable to both the TV and my PC. The subwoofer is behind my sofa. This makes for a perceived 3D experience, because I not only hear the sound, but can also feel the bass in the back =)
I have also tested the Bluetooth connection and with a LG TV. Float over Bluetooth times a song from the phone to the system is okay. Due to occasional stuttering and not quite as convincing sound I can do this only conditionally recommended. The wireless connection with an LG TVs without a separate optical cable is also possible and works. Here, however, one must consider a few things: the automatic switching on and off did not work with me. When the TV is turned on, the system must be taken into operation in addition, since these switches do not function automatically. The same applies when switching off: the system is not by itself into hibernation. The volume control worked perfectly again. Only for fine-tuning (bass control, Sound Mode, etc.) then you will also need the remote control of the sound bar. An architectural barrier it should be noted, when the soundbar is placed in front of the freestanding TV: with me she concealed due to the amount of the infrared emitter on the TV and I could only get short a remote control signal to the TV. Who would not like scratch the ceiling of each to provide the television quietly, should reflect on a wall bracket.
The coarsest adjustments can be made via touch buttons on the soundbar without remote control. This applies, of course, on / off, volume, audio input, Play / Pause, Stop. Then the Remote Control has to serve for more settings.
The Soundbar offers various sound profiles as 3D, Natural, Voice, etc. which have so far always been enough for me, especially as I am very satisfied with the virtual 3D sound. Only it comes now and then to sound interference - here the sound from the bar sounds much muffled, as if someone had placed before it. This, however, I was able to change the sound profile or switching off and fix. Should this not be enough I can recommend the LG support. I was easily a return label sent by mentioning the purchase date and the serial number for the free sending, which I ultimately did not have to use the workaround described.
Otherwise, I can associate myself with the many opinions of people:
the sound experience is a WOW effect when has so far seen only on TV. Especially in action movies and while gambling with the video console has been up to the voluminous bass a world of difference and contributes to a successful experience. Taking into account the above points, this soundbar is a real added value. The small downer can get over it well and therefore she gets 5/5 stars.
