The plastic ring from slipping off the loop and sets the junction between thick and thin cord open. Comes to the fore a partially welded thick cord and a knot in the thin cord. In addition, the thin cord made of extremely thin material and has no inner liner (as opposed to my last wrist strap).
The part will be very soon frayed or tear at the junction. An expensive piece of equipment I would not entrust the loop; I look at me now to something more solid.
