OziExplorer running smoothly, replace the defective device from Amazon promptly

The device did not come with the latest software, the update was easily. To install an older version of the device is not possible. OziEplorer was easy to install and has to be called "Tools". But true parallel operation is not possible. The Endura maps are vector maps, graphical Ozi maps. Disadvantage: the Ozi screen is so small that the operation is really only possible with pen. The display is sharp, the use of Endura program easy. Therefore: use of the area, in which one finds oneself the Endura software, otherwise OziExplorer as a fallback. Track recording is possible in two program modes, but in different formats. Operating with 2700 mAh batteries loose 7 Hours, perfectly adequate. The sun suitability of the screen is sufficient to satisfactory. Micro SD cards up to 32GB are detected, therefore enough space for everything. After 12 days, daily operation in Lanzarote the unit gave up the ghost (white screen). I had a few days of Amazon after complaining a new device that starts much faster than the original. The return service from Amazon is really excellent, a better service is not really feasible. The replacement unit was sent before my defective device from Amazon had arrived.
The magnetic compass function and the barometric altimeter function well, the GPS reception is excellent.
