As already described: it hooks only a spring steel nose in a hole in a Gummring - whether the 'eternal' holds, or in hectic 'Rumgeschraube? time will tell ...
When NEX lens is mechanically intervened directly, the lever has a good length to meet both fast and also precise the desired setting.

Lt. Data should the lever at a FZ1000 not quite fit on the paper = missing a tenth - with a little good will but also fits this zoom lever to the thickness of the pipe FZ1k. However: ... the rotating ring on the lens is only one electric. Steller - the setting is a little 'spongy' therefore - for the zoom lever can also nix.

Definitely 1000x better than this tiny zoom rocker on FZ1k housing!
